The Mexican consulate comes to Lafayette twice a year to provide the services offered in New Orleans like issue of Mexican Passport, Born certificate, ID card, Registration card to vote. This year, Father Dan give his authorization by first time to allocate them in St Jules, as an opportunity to let the people know about the most wonderful institution the Catholic Church is. For his knowledge of the Hispanic Community, Father Dan was aware that many Spanish speaking people living in Lafayette area don’t know about the possibility of attend Mass in Spanish and continue or start his life on the faith. This was an opportunity of encounter of a Catholic Church in Spanish for many people.
